So often, it’s the new baby who is the center of attention. It’s so easy for everyone—parents and professionals—to focus on nurturing him. And rightly so! But what about the mother? What words, actions, or recommendations will help the mother to feel nurtured at the antepartum, intrapartum, or postpartum period?
